Preamble

As world population projections soar, the immediate need to realize the finite nature of our resources and the fragile state of our environment becomes the utmost important task for all of us. Challenges such as food security, climate change and poverty lead towards a future both bleak and uncertain. Where individual action and corrective measures are no longer enough, we as a nation have to collectively work towards safeguarding our Nation's interests and that of her people. The Agriculture, Livestock & Animal Husbandry sectors, all play an equally vital role in feeding our nation, not only through the production and generation of nutrition but also by enabling the vast majority to earn a livelihood to be able to afford nutrition and all other necessities to survive and progress.
